About the Practice
A Dedicated Approach to Growth & Wellbeing
I am Sollie Prinsloo, an HPCSA-registered psychologist based in Cape Town. My professional journey is rooted in the belief that every individual possesses the innate capacity for resilience, provided they are given the right tools and a supportive environment to flourish.
In my practice, I bridge the gap between clinical expertise and empathetic support. I recognise that for many adolescents and young adults, the modern world presents a unique set of pressures from academic demands to social complexities. My role is to provide a non-judgmental space where these challenges can be unpacked and transformed into opportunities for development.
My work is strictly evidence-based, drawing from various therapeutic modalities to ensure that the support you receive is both scientifically grounded and deeply personal. Whether navigating a difficult transition or seeking clarity through assessment, we work as a team to map out a path toward lasting change.

Therapeutic Philosophy
My practice is built on three core pillars that guide every session and assessment.
Evidence-Based Practice
Utilising proven psychological interventions and standardised assessment tools to ensure the highest standard of clinical care.
Collaborative Partnership
I believe therapy is a joint venture. We work together with families and schools to create a holistic support system for the client.
Safe & Neutral Space
Providing a confidential environment in Cape Town (and online) where clients feel secure enough to be vulnerable and honest.
Professional Registration
I am fully registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). This registration ensures that my practice adheres to the highest ethical and professional standards governing psychological services in South Africa.
